Wally and I went to Weiss on Saturday 3/31/2012. We put in at Riverside and after a slow start we managed to put together a rock solid pattern by targeting private boat ramps out of the high traffic areas. We caught at least twenty bass yesterday with most of them being around 15" to 16" long. We had some larger ones and the biggest were these fish. Late in the day Wally lost one about 10' fromt he boat that would have been an easy 9 or 10 lbs. He just never could get a good hookset on her and she came unbuttoned! Water temps were between 69 and 70 all over the lake. Air temps were really nice and an occasional light breeze and puffy cumulus clouds made for a great day! Enjoy the pics! 1st picture fish of the day and the only one we actually weighed at 3.6 lbs Second picture fish of the day and late in the day I finally got one worth taking a picture of Notice only one bloody tail, they are just now coming up It was one of those days that was tailor made for spending with a buddy! Good memories and lots of laughter
