Yesterday was interesting, weather-wise. I am sure all the freshwater flushing through the lake and weird weather pattern has the bass messed up a bit. Judging by the weights it would appear that many of you experienced a tough lake like I did yesterday. With that said there is always going to be a couple of guys that manage to figure it out. Yesterday was Terry Depp’s, Edward Huskins’, and Mike Cronin’s day.
1st place went to Terry with 5 fish for 10.90 lbs., $150 2nd place went to Edward with 3 fish for 7.56 lbs., $90 Ed also had big bass with a 4.40 lb. fish for $75 3rd place went to Mike with 5 fish for 7.44 lbs., $60
The lake was stained and 69 near the State Ramp, and much cleaner towards the dam and Yellow Creek. The temps topped out about 75 yesterday afternoon. There were storms yesterday morning and overcast most of the day and intermittent periods of wind up to about 15 mph. Air temps were comfortable warming to about 80 yesterday afternoon. The next event will be on Blue Ridge, we will be launching and weighing in at the public ramp on the north side of the lake. More info to follow. Good seeing you guys!
