Hey folks just wondering if anyone knows where locally I could get a new drop down rectangular axle for a decent price. One of my spindals is scoured and just don't trust it on a long haul. It would probably have to be made as this is an older 1998 Javelin trailer. |

Marietta, ask for Jimmy or Becky, they do axle work, bearing work, trailer lights, and of course hitches. Thanks Keith I will sure enough give them a call ! Just maybe they can save my current axle with a new spindal. I honestly think they could. They had a huge Bay Boat( 3-300 HP Yamaha Outboard)at their shop friday when i was there and i beleive they were doing axle and bearing work on it. |

I talked to a guy at Dalton marine and was there for something else, and I explained to him what the deal was with my spindal and he said as long as my bearings would seat ok I should be ok, and I have driven to Brushy branch and gatewood and hub was nice and cool after both trips. So I may put it off a bit and save my money and later order a axle kit when I have time to do it myself, which a place I found would be less than $300.
