Hello everyone, I wanted to start off saying I am new to the forum. I need some advice on what baits to use at the toona. I have been fishing at carters every saturday since april and no luck. so, I figured I would try allatoona. I have never bass fished this lake only crappie( which is fantastic by the way). I just really need to know where to start and what are the popular colors and rigging. I just recently bought a boat last winter and want to start fishing every chance I can get. I'm not looking for monsters just a good day of fishing. Any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks......

Start at the mouth of creeks and deep pockets mid-lake. Fish 10-12 foot running crank baits medium retrieve and slow roll spinnerbaits. Work your way back into this areas. Hit transition areas hard where different types of gravel and rock meet. Sunny side and clay warm up the fastest. Bigger fish will be deeper on first or second break.
