Sorry for the delay folks, Right after the tournament I was getting ready for a week’s vaca and didn’t get this posted Well the Shoot the Hootch challenge Is in the books. Stop #2 for the Big Shanty Bassmasters was Lake Lanier this past Saturday the 15 of October. Things were a little better this time around weight wise. Mike McMahon Was on top of the Boater side with a little over 10 lbs for a limit of fish. Mike reported all fish were caught up the Chestatee on a 1/2 oz white spinner bait during the early part of the day on windblown banks and points. Once the wind died down and sun popped out he went with a shaky head worm in Watermelon candy to finish out and cull up. Congrats Mike. Second on the Boater side was Andy Henderson and Bill Scearce came in 1st on the Co-Angler side. Our Next Meeting is November 7th at Provino’s restaurant in front of Towne Center Mall on Barrett Parkway and our next tournament is November 12th , Throwdown at Sugar Creek on Lake Oconee We are accepting membership for both Boater and Co Anglers so if you want to learn more about bass fishing or hone up your skills please come on over and check us out more shoot me an email at bigshantybass@gmail.com. We start about 7 and last till about 8-8:30. Follow us on Facebook at Big Shanty Bassmasters Mike McMahon with Big Fish of the Tournament
