The Big Shanty Bassmaster traveled to Lake Weiss this past weekend for their March Tournament, The Alabama Thaw, as we say adios to Old Man Winter till Dec 21st.
The Morning started out with rain and a ton of boats as there was a Crappiethon tournament and a Big Bass tournament going on as well. In fact I was fishing in a pocket and felt like all off a sudden there was a naval armada coming in on me.
But things brightened up for weigh in
Our Eldest member Jack Stewart at a tender young 79 still show us young folk how to get r done. He had 4 fish at 11.00 lbs anchored by this 6.03 lb beauty. This is the Trifecta for Jack, 3rd win in a row on the Co Angler side
But another 6lber showed up. Mike McMahon took top honors on the Boater side with a 5 fish limit at 13 lbs with this 6.08lbs beast. Al Frix was 2nd on the Boater side with 5 at 12.03. CONGRATS GUYS
