Well our spring 2 day trip is in the Books. Lake Chickamauga, The Tennessee River Smackdown took place this past weekend. And She smacked a few of us down. We decided to make this two 1 day tournaments as we needed to make up for December which got postponed for weather. So Day 1, the wind blew, did I mention the wind blew? In case I didn't the wind blew, but it was Mr. Chickamauga himself, our beloved President, Al Frix, who took top honors on the boater side with 5 fish at 8lb 15 oz. Al reports all his fish came from rocks and blowdowns on a shakyhead jig tipped with a Green Pumpkin trick worm. 2nd place Boater was Andy Henderson and 1st place Co Angler was Sammy Young. Honorable mention goes out to prospect Michael Miranda who had a nice bag at 11lbs 7 oz's. Day 2 rolled around and what a beautiful spring day it was as you can see from some of the pictures. Morning started out a little cool but warmed up nicely. Mike McMahon was able to redeem a terrible day 1 to win on day 2 with 4 that tipped the scales at 11 lbs 3 oz, Al came in 2nd and guess who came in first on the Co-side,,,,, YUP!!!! Jack Stewart,,AGAIN!!!!! with 4 fish at 9 lbs 2 ozs. All in all the entire club had a good time with fun and fellowship Water temps were in the low 60's and stained from mid lake to clear on the lower end
