Hey guys i know this is called allatoona bass but i have a friend in the Navy that is coming to town this week. He wants me to take him fishing. I have a 12 foot Jon boat with a 9.8 1974 mercury so night fishing is the only time the water is calm enough for a Jon boat. The only ramp i know that is open 24 hrs and close to my house is galts ferry. i was wondering if anyone could help me locate some catfish near there i am afraid to go far out .Just in case i want to be able to paddle back LOL. Also i only use liver with some pantie hose or cheese cloth (to hold it on the hook). what other baits work good for catfish? Thanks ;D

I would head to Stamp creek or Cherokee. From the Cherokee ramp, it isn't that far to the Etowah channel. Good luck
