Just wanted to say hello. I live in Dallas, Ga and have fished allatoona without much success. I recently purchased the 797 SI but I'm not sure if I got the settings right. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks

Welcome aboard!
with the 797 there are only a couple of things that I change. the standard settings I left along, save the sensitivity, I only bumped it up a couple of notches. when I am over fish I switch to the quad beam sonar, seems to give a better sonar read to what is under the boat. other than that, I run it "out of the box" I may be missing something, but it has worked great like that so far.

heathivie, man I would think a person could come up with a more original user name than that. Let me suggest a few "Slo-wrkn", "Fishdout", "Allplayer", "Tourneywreck" you get my drift anything that doesn't imply catching or working. Take a little time and imagination and get yourself a real name, come on"heathivie" you gatta be kidding. Take a little pride in yourself and show people you can think!!!
The rest of the story is Heath works with me and he is a great guy and has caught the tourney bug, even lucked up and won a few I believe. Couldn't help but rib him a little. Get over it Heath, see ya at the office.
