Thanks to Hounddog's wife for working her internet magic. I caught that fish last March in Siebold Creek. She was released shortly after she was weighed, and a few pictures were made. She hit a green pumpkin Yum Air Lizard fished on a Carolina rig. Unfortunately, they don't make that lizard anymore. Yes, Fly Guy, Guntersville was full last year, and this year as well. The Tennessee River doesn't have a major metropolitan city sucking it dry.

I just assumed Guntersville would have been down too.
But now that I think about it, when I lived in Huntsville in the 70's it was flooding they had trouble with NEVER low water levels.
Is milfoil (SP) still all over the lake? For a while it was terrible.

As of the middle of March, when we were there, the bottom was bare out to around four feet. That's where the grass started. By May, it should be topping out all over the lake.

I tried to find her again this spring, but she was being shy. I did catch her little sister, who weighed 6 lbs.
