These are my two biggest bass ever caught. Both are from our 8 acre pond that I fish in with a pedal boat ;D Not exactly the Nitro I dream about, but it works. The first one was hiding under a sunken tree last summer in about 12 feet of water. I caught her on a Rapala DT10 crankbait in bluegill color. She was about 10 lbs. The second (which I caught just a couple days ago)was in about 3-4 feet of water.I caught her on a weightless Zoom lizard after I saw her barely break the surface for a minnow.She was around 8 lbs.Just goes to show that you don't need to drive anywhere to catch lunker bass ;D
