Anthony,
I replaced the plugs with the NGK model you suggested and I had another guy confirm these as well. Thanks. My problem now is I have a slow hole shot and seems to take a few seconds for the boat to want to get up. It started doing later on in the day at the ABT tourney and it had been a while since changing my plugs, so I thought maybe that was the solution. Well, last night at the Nutter, put the boat in and crank it up and head up the creek for a short run. Right up out of the hole, no problem. Sit around waiting for take off and just want jump up on plane. Had to back off the throttle hit it again and worked fine. I just had the stater replaced last fall and have had no problems until now. When it does get up, I'm running fine at about 5600 rpms WOT. This isn't a constant problem because at times yesterday evening it would shoot out fine, other times would take it a while. The motor is a 1985 Mercury 150 Black Max. Thanks for your help.
