hi Anthony, i want to replace the bunk boards and the carpet on them on my trailer. i have already ordered the replacement carpet but i was wondering what type of boards i should use. i know that it needs to be waterproof boards but the pressure treated boards i have seen tend to warp. do you have any suggestions on what type of wood or composite boards i would need to use and where to buy them. thanks in advance oldfishinfool.

I always use pressure treated and so does all of the trailer manufactures. There is a company in Duluth , GA that makes a composite bunk but I do not remember their name. I will try to find it and post it as well.

When you look for pressure treated, look for the driest you can find. Or, if all you can find is the really wet stuff, set it out to dry with some concrete blocks on it to hold it flat. I had to do this when I built my deck several years ago.
