Boat won't get on plane

Fished Toona last night out of Stamp Creek. Boat took off great and ran fine down to the marina. Idled down and got past the boat houses and boat motor bogged out when I tried to take off again. Wouldn't get over 1500 rpm's on the guage and wouldn't get on plane. Idled fine all the way back to the ramp, but wouldn't get up. Any ideas on what could have happened? Seems that I may have fouled a plug or two for it to happen that quickly, but wanted to get your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

New plugs would be the best place to start

I would start with new plugs and if that does it keep a set in the boat and it will never happen again. MURPHY'S LAW !!!! LOL !!!!!!
