Hey Anthony, I'm having trouble with a 1997 Johnson Venom 200 HP. I'm loosing fuel pressure when running at WOT. It will lose power until it gets to idle speed and then run rough until it stalls. I went back and checked the primer bulb and it was soft, pumped the bulb and it starts back up and runs fine until I run at WOT for about a minute. I have the factory service manual and was running through the fuel system tests. I have pressure and vacuum tested the supply line to the VRO pump and found no leaks. I have bench tested the VRO pump and it passes the tests. I'm checking the pulse limiter fitting but not sure how it is supposed to operate. The diaphragm inside the fitting moves but I am able to blow air through both ends without any restriction. My question is should this be like a check valve or is it maybe working correctly? I work on cars for a living so I'm mechanically inclined but lack product knowledge. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The pulse valve works like a check valve and crank case pressure is what makes it operate with the piston going up and down makes it work but should only work one way.
