i have a 90 bass tracker 1800 tf with a evinrude XP 150, the power head has just been rebuilt and the boat will only run around 51mph, i have a 14x24pitch on it, should this boat be running any faster than what it is?I have been told that the pitch on it is wrong and do not want to start spending alot of money on new props if this ain't the problem. thanks Alex

What RPM's are you turning at 51mph? You also need to know what your engines operating range is (ex.5000-5600)?

Alex, I have a 92 18ft Ranger with a Faststrike 150 and it tops out at 62, always has at that speed. Has a Raker prop but I couldn't find and size markings. It should give you an idea of what speed to look for.

You may want to check throttle travel. Make sure it is traveling to the full throttle position. Could be that simple as they could have set incorrectly at the shop.
