Not sure if I am in the right spot, but here goes. I registered on Allatoona Bass based on recommendations from Nature's Tackle. I live in Hiram and just purchased a Skeeter SX190 a few weeks ago. Just got it in the water this past Monday. Managed to catch one 3 lb. spot in about 3 hours of fishing on a white 3/8 oz. spinner bait with tandem willow blades. Hoping to hook up with a local BASS club once I get a little more use to the boat. One question for you veteran BASSER'S, " HOW ON EARTH DO YOU GET YOUR TRUCK AND TRAILER INTO A PARKING PLACE AFTER YOU LAUNCH YOUR BOAT AND THE PARKING LOT IS WALL TO WALL TRAILERS". I guess I'm going to have to learn. Look forward to the 2009 season.

Welcome Skeeter . Here's a hint on how to get your truck parked. "get there earlier than everone else" or "fish during the week" but even then it's getting tougher . Welcome again to the forum Mike

You are at the right place and welcome. Hate to say it but those trailer spots are going to get even harder to find until Labor Day when all the pleasure craft leave the lake.

Welcome aboard. The parking lots are almost as big a challenge as finding active spots, atleast for me, lol. When you're ready to seek a bass club let me know, Our club would like to meet you and see if you are interested in joining us.

Welcome to the site Mike is quite right on the parking spaces, earlier the better. other than that, practice practice practice. I had a tough time at first, especially with the crew cab long bed chevy and the trailer, bout like parking a semi, whew! but after a while it gets easier.

Killian, Thanks for the advice. If I was 25 years old again, believe me nothing would bother me, but as you get older you seem to be a little more cautious. I'm going to try and do a good bit of Monday fishing since that is my normal day off, so if anybody id interested in fishing some Monday's let me know.
