I caught this sal on a drop shot!!!! She weighed 5.82!!!! We must have caught 80-100 fish that day between 3-4 lbs. If you get a chance you have to get up there!!! There is nothing like it!!!

growing up I never did fish lake Erie, but got to lake Michigan quite a bit. Fun fun fishing!

Nice smallie!! I'm from Buffalo and get up there quite a bit to do some fishing. Ever since the Round Gobies invaded from Asia, the Smallmouth population has exploded. Here's a 4lb. smallie I got this summer from a previous post.

Hay Luv4fishin....I know what ya mean....i grew up on lake Erie ( Lorain, Ohio ) The smallies and Walleye are really great this time of year! Around Thanksgiving a blue/ silver rat-l-trap off the pears in Sandusky will land a 12 to 14 pound (on average ) Walleye. Was up there this past july and landed aourd 15 white bass a day!

Nice fish!! I went to Canada a few years back and never caught that many in a day or one that size. I may have to go to Erie next time!!
