Shoot, since everyone seems to be posting their best, I thought I would add mine to the list. Caught this one at Brush Creek Res. in Indiana, early March, white spinner bait in 2ft of water next to a lay down.

No, it wasn't a spot, but it sure would be nice to land a spot that big. It was a lake record though, beating the previous record by 10 Oz.

Wow! That's a real slob! My best LM was a 7 lb 3 oz, caught it at a farm pond in Martinez, GA back in 1984. I have a pic somewhere.

The guy that mounted the fish lived in Gnaw Bone Indiana, and told me not to call to find out how the process was going. After 9 months I called and he chewed me out for calling, and said he would let me know. The mounting took a little over a year, but it was worth it. He did a fantastic job. ;D
