mike, tell me how lame my idea is... it may be already in another forum or may not be... but i would like to make jon into a poor mans bass boat... if anyone has tips or suggestions that will help or if there is websites that may help the convert the project any easier...i already have a heavy bass piece of plywood and wanted to trash it and possibly get aluminum, and possibly make conpartments... or live well... maybe i'm just going to far and just get one that has all that....

Bassboy1 did a project like that Russ and he has posted it on the forum in the past with complete sets of pictures. Mike did the same. I'll try and find it and post a link if I can.

Russ, The pedastal hole was carpeted over when I laid the carpet down. I then cut a hole in the carpet for the pedastal pole (chair). The female pedastal was welded to the boat there so I chose to carpet over it and cut out the hole with a razor. worked very well Mike

Russ, I sold the boat about 3 years ago. I bought it to fish Lake Varner and a few other electric only lakes. I only used it like 4 times or so. Sold it because I hated driving through Atlanta Traffic to get to the electric only lakes south of Atlanta.
