Hello All,
Just joined the Forum - have been out of fishing for about 15 years but recently semi-retired and getting back into it - bought a boat and have been on Allatoona a few times, but haven't yet wet a line - live in Paulding County close to Rockmart. Looking forward to learning a lot from everyone. Thanks!

Welcome Nitro482. If you haven't already be sure to stop by Christies at Natures Tackle Box in Hiram to introduce yourself and also for recent fishing info and tackle since your nearby. Welcome to the forum!

Some of the biggest fish on Toona are caught when it's cold!

Welcome to the board 482. You will be able to pick up all sorts of tips on this board. It has helped me tremendously in getting use to fishing Toona. By the way, looks like we might be neighbors. I live on the Paulding Polk line just off of 278.

Ranger, thanks for the welcome. Yes, we do live pretty close to one another - I live off of 101 just a hop, skip and a jump from Scott's store (the old one by the Masonic Lodge). Glad to know a fellow fisherman is so close! I'm really looking forward to learning as much as I can from not only the forums but the folks that have been doing it for a long time.....nothing like experience.
