Why is it that there isnt any ramps that you can use the dock all year long, atleast not any on the north side of the lake? Any way this could be a project that could be looked into?

I agree it could be done with some dock extensions, it is hard to put your 40,000 on the rocks. even with a keel gaurd.

Guys, I think it has to do with safety. If you look at how the docks are made you will see that they are attached by a pin at the concrete base on land. If you move that pin the dock, which is heavier than heck by the way, will have to be craned back up to fit on the concrete. I agree it is a pain and if they were to extend the docks they would have to extend them at their present state and not just roll them out further into the water when the water goes down. With our Corps guys being under budget I don't see it happening. HOWEVER, I realized this early on in the game. I have a beaching bumper on the keel of my boat and so does Robert. The beaching bumper allows you to pull up on a concrete ramp if you like. I also almost never use the courtesy docks when I am pulling out as waves from the seadoos and pleasure boats will push your boat into the dock causing those same nicks and scratches that you are trying to prevent in the first place. THe bumper that I reccomend is www.hambys.com Roger Stutterfield is the owner and provides customer support beyond belief in the event that you even need it. Wilson Marine up by Red Top is a dealer and installs them. IT's an expensive fix but it has saved me tons of headaches and protected my boat from scratches from docks. Mike

Just don't run with one through ice. I use to have one but managed to rip it off this last winter because I was running in some ice. Man that was cool, or should I say COLD!

I'd just slap a picture of your boat and truck on there and get it screen printed. No need to take pictures of each individual item on your truck and boat he he
