I have been working with Terrell Stoves of the USACE to arrange a campout at McKinney campground for those that have helped with the tree cutting. It looks like it may be possible to get this done before the end of October. While this has not yet been confirmed Terrell needs to know how many people would be camping and wether you would be setting up a tent or an RV. This would be a Friday night to Sunday morning campout with an awards supper on Saturday night.
IF YOU HELPED WITH THE TREE CUTTING: Please reply here if you would be interested in participating.

CLARIFICATION::
Right now I don't know if this idea will get final approval from the Corp Management so I can't say what weekend it will be. And it may end up being just Saturday night. At the very least I am hoping to get a pavillion for a Saturday night Awards Supper as the Corp and DNR have prizes to give out from Bass Pro Shop and Walmart. At this time I just need to know how many are interested in attending and what type of camping they will be doing, tent or RV, so if it does get approved we will know how many campsites will be needed.

I'm interested too. I would be sleeping in the back of the truck (most likely). Thanks for putting this together Ray.

Sounds cool. I would just show up for the food and hangout for awhile--oh and the prizes. Hope they can make this happen.

I'd make a Saturday to hang out, but the wife and kids aren't too keen on camping. Definitely be fun to get together with everyone on Saturday though.

Procraft - It is just for those people that helped do the cutting. Not meaning to offend anyone, it is just a small way of saying thanks for the help. The Corp will be providing free camp sites and therefore limited it to just the cutters, if it gets approved.

I could make it and would put on the camper top on the pontoon and camp on the shore.
