Brandon we are going to start where Bassamasta is talking about but have several other areas in mind as well, including the ones that you mentioned. It will all depend on amount of volunteers and the weather. To bad this project didn't get approved back in August when we finished cutting trees for the year. But we will plan better for it next year now that we have an established program. We just have to work out the kinks, but look how far we have come in 4 days. Monday morning there was no seeding program, no equipment, no idea on what type of seed, no idea where to get seed, no money to purchase seed and most importantly nobody to do the work. LOOK WHERE WE ARE NOW!!! The fishing community of this lake has once again stepped up to the plate and hit a home run in my book, you guys amaze and humble me and I'm proud to call all of you FRIEND.

Ray, How do you want to collect the $$$. Pay you when we see you or mail it in? or at the cookout?? Bassamasta, That was the first place that I told Ray about . That flat will be perfect. Actually shallow enough that it might still get light penentration through the water. Guys not sure how this will help the fish but it can't hurt. We got another project in the works as well. Just waiting on the green light from Terrell. We are going to BUILD our lake up and kick that "dead sea" moniker in the AZZ!! And thats the bottom line!! Mike

I can pay when I show up or I can mail it. I will need an address. Also, any thoughts of planting in the south end of the lake? It could be a big help for growing LM slobs (like Fred).

I placed an order for 10 bags each of the Wheat and Rye this morning, rye should be in next Tuesday and the wheat should be in next Friday. I wanted to hold back some of the money in case we discovered that there is going to be some kind of equipment that we will need to purchase after the first seeding. I would prefer that you mail me the donations so that I can pay cash rather than credit card. But it would need to be in the mail by next Tuesday. If that is a problem then pay me at the ramp, I have no problem with that. Once again make the checks out to:
Ray Bowin 1141 Amberton Lane Powder Springs, Ga. 30127
If we don't need any additional equipment then the rest of the money will go to seed and I will keep looking to see if I can get a better price. BrandonC give me a call 678-524-4834 to talk about your supplier.
Mike, I talked to Terrell about that other project yesterday and I believe you will get it providing we don't go lower than normal winter pool.
I am so proud to be associated with such a fine group of sportsmen and remain amazed at the way you have all stepped up.

Today I received checks totaling $368 from members of this and First Bites forum. I will list all names and amounts received later in the week. I also did a recon mission today of the flats and found a section that we can beach our boats at where we shouldn't have to walk to far to get started. That ATV/wagon/rake and tractor is going to be very helpful.
