Hello to Everyone, I'm new to the forum, but I have fished a few lakes in GA. I live up in TN. Just southeast of Nashville. Bob Smith (PORKO) and I are old friends. So everytime I get down to See Bob, We have to wet a line. For all you that know Bob, Let me tell ya" He's not normal!!!! He has fish swimming in his veins!!!! But you can't find a better person!!! Bill it's good to have you with us. I believe I met you at Natures Tackle Box when you were down here. I believe I told you that my wife is from Franklin, Tn. And your right Bob's not normal, but Texas's loss has been our gain. (He takes a joke pretty well, too.)

Bob its ok, as long as he fly fish's for Bass every once in awhile. My father use to fly fish for just about anything that swims. I just wish I had learned to fly fish. As much as we like topwater, I think we would love it

As much as we like topwater, I think we would love it Brother Bill, I think you got this method confused with "fly-fishing"! LOL NOT even close. This is a method that was developed by some of those nut cases in your part of the country many years ago that uses super long crappie fishing spinning gear, light line and hair jigs about the size of crappie jigs suspended under a bobber. Originally designed to pull those smallied off the bluff walls (like those up on the Cumberland right next to the HWY 109 bridge).
