Spent the day on Carters with Jeff and Phil, great time, nice fish. I started things off with a new PB spot of 4lb 5oz, caught on a Shakey head with Green pumkin/redflake Zoom trick worm. Not to be outdone, Phil followed this up with a nice 3 3/4lb spot. Then Jeff decided to show us how it was done... Which resulted in a 14 1/2lb Striper He later rubbed salt in our wounds with a 15 1/2lb Striper, way to go mate I finished out the day with another spot 3 3/4lb, Carters Spots have to be some of the prettyest Spots I have seen Always a pleasure spending days like this with good buddies and good fishing

I am learning that Carters is a boom and bust type of place. Since then we have been back twice more and got Skunked Just when you think you've cracked it Can't have it your way all the time can you ? But those big lovely Spots will keep me coming back all the time.
