Eman,
I am going to guess and say its the battery,,, Bout all I can so to do is charge it up for about a full day,,, turn off the charger and put a volt meter to it and see what it reads. Or take it out and have a load test put on it. Im willing to bet it wont take or hold a full charge. A fully charge 12 volt battery will read 13 volts if you get something below 12.5 or so then the battery is weak.
Anthony can give you better info though.

eman1135 , I am guessing you are talking about the trolling motor batteries. The best thing to do is if you have one going bad and you only replace the bad one it is only a period of time before the other one will go. It is like a diesel truck battery set up you never replace just one always replace both of them because the bad one will pull the good one down and you are back in the same boat ( no pun intended ).

You could also switch the leads from the battery charger and see if the problem stays with the battery or moves with the leads from the charger.

I have seen this many times....Charger is bad on that bank...If it is a The dual pro by Chargers International...they used to have a 7 year deal on them...but now only 3 yrs on them now..like said above, change the leads and see what happens or check with volt meter..

As Slim said, switch the charger leads, if it follows that new battery then suspect the charger. If not then the battery would be suspect. Hope this helps.

Also, sometimes when a battery is severely discharged...below 12.5 you should put a manual charger on it to bring it up some then reconnect the onboard charger.
