2009 was pretty good to me, fishing-wise. And best of all, it brings retirement to somewhere that the spots swim another year closer. Although I am going to miss some of these northern waters, I sure won't miss the snow and ice. www.richz.com/demo/09review.html

Rich thanks for sharing. By the way, just how many days a year do you average on the water? And are you moving to Florida to get away from the snow and ice or somewhere else?

Rich thanks for sharing. By the way, just how many days a year do you average on the water? And are you moving to Florida to get away from the snow and ice or somewhere else? When I was writing full time, I fished 3 or 4 days a week. But after I got sick, ran out of money and had to go back to work, it's just most weekends (sometimes one day, usually two) and a few vacation days here and there, so somewhere between 90 and 120. My wife wants Florida, I'd rather have reasonable access to smallies and spots, so I'm working on her for somewhere a little farther north.
