my buddy had his oil line pop off going across the water and the motor locked up got motor freed up cranks ands runs good just slow on take off and lost about 10 mph on top end checked compression all cylinders are good except for top right which shows no compression can it be ran as it is without furthur damage to rest off the motor and what wiill it take to fix

That engine ran as is will have internal parts becoming external very soon, ruining a perfectly good block from being rebuildable at all! It's best to get it rebuilt right.JMHO

basschaser , STOP!!!!! Do not run it any more unless you want to replace the whole powerhead. It might just need a new piston and rering the engine you want know untill you tear it down and inspect the internal parts. If you cotinue to run the engine you will do more damage than good and it is cheaper to replace a few parts than a new powerhead.

Some times you do not have to tear it all the way down to find the problem. My guess is 3 to 4 hours @ 70.00 per hour.
