New to The Board

Hey folks. I'm new to the Board, just stumbled across it the other night while surfing. Name's Dave Reed, live in Woodstock. Been fishing Allatoona on and off since '94. Fished more for crappie than bass the last few years (just out of lazyness and to put fish in the freezer).

Got a new boat last fall after a kid wrecked my truck and old boat shortly after leaving the Kellogg ramp last Oct. Luckily, my buddy and I lived through him flipping my truck over and his momma had good insurance, so I got a new truck & boat outta the deal (see pic). I made out OK, going from an '85 Ebbtide F/S to a '03 Skeeter SX200.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting a few of you on the water or whereever. And looking forward to gaining some fresh pointers on how to find the bass in The Dead Sea.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Hope to see ya out there. Went out Saturday for a few hours, got two decent spots on a chrome/blue rattletrap over by chimney rock.

Hard to believe I drove to work in the snow this morning!
