I will help also, but you have to be careful. One wrong step and you are up to your belly button in mud. There are pockets of soft stuff all over. I saw a 4x4 truck on lanier a few months ago try to run along the shoreline and his front end burried about half way around a flat cove. he waas up to his windsheild in mud. Be careful.

I usually say "Nice Pictures" but not in this case.
Please send these to the local news papers and TV. Maybe they will run them or get there own photogs out. If we know a clean up date soon enough, send that info too.

Perhaps the cans can be recylced and the funds go to charity . Maybe too much mud to recycle. How do you get to Illinois by land ? May need a meeting place with a date and time. Will help depending on the weekend.

Hey Guys, I can get some barrels from work and we can tie them to trees on the bank and ask everyone to put their trash in them.
I seen cans at .50 a pound near Blockhouse. I have picked up cans all year from the lake and have made $78.00 just from the lake and I only spend about an hour at a time on the weekends I can get out.
We all know this is a famous party cove, and people are going to make a mess. Maybe if we show some concern, by putting some barrels out there maybe at least some of them will use them?
I would be glad to get the cans, and haul off the rest of the trash. Maybe we can work something out that will make everyone happy.

Cans on the bank wont do any good. Those cans are from the big boats when they raft up and party all weekend.

I wanted to also point out that the cans are empty now and will be floating when water levels rise.
