I have lived up here in Cartersville for almost three years and have never fished that little lake. Can anyone launch their boat in there and fish, what are the rules?

There is a small ramp beside the beach area. You can launch a bass boat, but no big motor. They will not even allow you to run at no wake. Then they let the Allatoona Ski Club practice there! Go figure! I just use a 50 foot anchor rope to drift off the trailer and to pull the boat on with. Here one of my son @ Guntersville. He's gonna be someone that gets attention at weigh-ins. I'd fish a tourney with him in a heartbeat and I've fished with a lot of great folks, but the kids getting better all the time.

Bob, you can launch your boat there, but can't crank the big motor. I might have to go up there too. Especially if there is a frog bite!!!

Bank fishing is possible, but somewhat limited. Woods and marshy area the creekside and golf course directly across from beach and ramp. It has a fairly steep bank to it in several areas.
