well, that was a good novel to read thanks for doing research and posting it here for all of us to read. I would love to see the volunteering projects grow. We all know the budget is tight, seen it, heard it, over and over. Just think how much more could get done if everyone who takes from the lake, gives a bit back. I know I took for years, with nothing given back, until this past year. The best part was all the new people that I met. My wife laughs at me, every time we are on the lake we hear a "Killian!" or see somebody and chat for a bit. Makes for good days. For the amount of people I see fishing the lake, the turnout for volunteer projects is tiny. Turn some negative into future positive. Thanks again Mike for your time, both talking to corps and typing a novel ;D

Thanks Mike!
Your hard work makes me think of something irreverent. I know it's expensive keeping your boat in a slip but just look at all the time you save not having to haul her back and forth! LOL
I know you have been doing the work all along. I hope you can tell from the other posts that we do appreciate it.
Peace/Love/Fish

We definitely appreciate your passion, Mike. Thanks for the info. Just like everything else in life, there is more to the story if you look hard enough.
Hey Ray, your reply wasn't exactly the shortest of the bunch (lol). Dictaputer, what a riot.
Waiting patiently, chain saw in hand...

Mike has the ability to be in 3-5 places at one time. At least that's the way it seems with all the stuff he gets accomplished. Thanks Mike.

Well, I STAND VERY CORRECTED!!! I threw my fair share of rocks at the COE and with very little information in my back pocket. I should have just kept my mouth shut and studied more on my college exams... Mike, I appreciate what you just did and even though you need a COPYRIGHT on your book , it was very well written, to the point, with facts, and I for one APPRECIATE THE HECK OUT OF IT.. I'm also very glad that you are one of the few very un-selfish people that will take the time and get the info that benefits all of us. For that I thank you..!!!! Lineman, you too sir are a huge assset to our fishing community as well and I appreciate you too. My questions has been answered and I somewhat feel ashamed that I didn't take the time to get my facts before I VENTED-OFF on a different forum a couple days ago. I think it's just because I was tired and cranky. I do hope that you guys will forgive me on that and now that I see a COE employee out on his day off with the rest of us guys trying to make our lake a better one, it stands to reason that everyone of us should do the same if we feel like things are going down hill. I will and I challenge all of us to do the same and we can make this lake EXCEPTIONAL. All I can really say is Thanks Mike for your hard work and your a friend that I feel very lucky to have.!!! Rangersteve... WORD UP CUZ!!! I'M SEEING WHAT YOU SAY'N........................... NUT

Good job, Mike! Knowledge is power, and the more we know the better decisions we can all make. You continue to develop your talents as a writer by uncovering the facts and articulating them to thirsty readers.
