I am from Alabama and live on lake Wedowee but my boss takes our group camping twice a year on Allatoona. Next week will be our third trip to Toona and I am hoping to learn a little about the lake from you guys. If anyone has any pointers they'd like to pass along (sunken brush piles, good creeks) I'd gladly give the same info for Wedowee.

get out a jighead and any strait worm anything thats green and start throwing. Last week when i was there it did'nt matter where you fished, shallow, deep, nothing looking banks, points, right now it don't matter you can catch them everywhere.

Toona is a tough nut to crack, but jusmangrum has it right. Can pretty easily bust them on shakey head or Texas rig right now. Welcome to the board! I've learned a books worth and more here the last six months.

Thanks guys, last time we were there was in Oct. when the lake was 11' over full. It took a while to get the pattern but we finally found them out where the banks should have been in 10-15' of water. Were heading up next Friday to stay the weekend and I'll try to post a report.
