Hello all. I'm jr and i'm new to the forum. Been reading the posts for a couple days and find the info great. Need to know some info on fishing around galts ferry. We, wife and i, have been doing reat around the block house, tried galts ferry and only caught one. Does anyone have any tips for this area? Should we run pretty far to fish when putting in there? thanks

Welcome jr. Defiantly keep reading, but if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. A lot of guys on here will answer the best they can. Some more experienced than others, but everyone has their own views.

jr, comanche hit the nail on the head with his comment... what makes toona a great lake is it's a b&^%h to fish at times and it makes the angler to think... ok wind, sun, shade, rock trees, flats...etc... makes you a more versatile angler... throwing stuff you normally dont fish with... like comanche saidits different everyday........ one day the greens will hit that t-bone steak the next day they perfer pickle flavor sunflower seeds.. just read reports and pay attention to the little things.. bluebird skies...90* water.... fish were in shady docks.. its the little things such as that, that will help you find fish..
