Barbecued Pot Roast
Ingredients;
*1 beef pot roast, 4 to 5 lbs * 2 tablespoons veg oil * salt & pepper * 1 cup water * 1 can(8 oz.) tomato sauce * 2 cups sliced onions * 2 cloves garlic-minced * 2 tablespoons brown sugar * 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard * 1/4 cup lemon juice * 1/4 cup vinegar * 1/4 cup ketchup * 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce * dash of Hot Sauce
Prep;
Brown Meat on all sides in Dutch Oven or kettle in hot oil Sprinkle with salt & pepper Add water, tomato sauce, sliced onion, and minced garlic Cover & simmer for 2 - 2 1/2 hours Add remaining ingredients, cover, and continue cooking for 1-1/2 hours until roast is tender. Check occasionaly and add more water if needed. Remove meat and skim off excess fat. Serves 6-8
Works very well with venison also. Enjoy-Mo ;D

Hey COMANCHE you gonna save some for me? I think the doc wouldn't get mad about a little venison. The wife might, but then again when isn't she.
