Sammys on the bank

Are sammy 100s worth their price for us bank fishermen?

Sammys are worth it for sure, but as far as from the bank, not sure, only tossed it from a boat.

Should i try one of those bass pro sammys baits because it is a little cheaper?

I am not sure about on the bank. If I lose it, while on the boat, it floats, so I can go get it. If I lose it on the bank, it's gone.

I realize now that my post didn't make much sense. What I meant was, with the high price of them, I would be worried about bank fishing with them, as there is no way to retrieve them. If I am on my boat, I can save it, and don't have to stomach a 15 dollar loss everytime it gets hung up on something. Back when I was bank fishing, I only used cheap off brand baits cause it would get lost before I wore it out. Now, with the boat, I am more willing to get expensive baits, as I know they will stay in my possession longer.
