Has our heat wave affected the fishing?

The heat and low water is a good thing.

It locks them on to the wood and other deep structure.

Less water, less area to have to find them.

right on, the spots usually move to steep bluffs or ledges in falling water conditions...

So far I havent seen many posts where the water temp is in the high 80s or even 90s. In past years I can remember water temps at the surface being in the low 90s. So I say what heat wave. I think this has been another mild summer if we do not take this week into consideration.

1st question, it is sure affecting MY FISHING, or lack thereof!

Lou We are getting close, but August just started a week ago.........I bet by the end of THIS week, surface temps are in the 90's...........heck last night they were trying to get up there.....88+
HEY, I should go find out for myself........sounds like a good excuse to go fishing..........."HEY BABY, I HAVE TO GO SEE IF THE TEMPS are in the 90's yet" ;D I'll try it and let you know if it works! I know last night I put my hand in the water and it wasn't even very refreshing.........I am SO ready to put my BOOTS back on!

Had a group over at house Saturday swimming off of dock, or rather lack of swimming off of dock, the water was hot, not even comfortable, better to sit on dock and sip a cool one.
