Just wanted to say hey and give a short intro. My name is Randy Nuckols and I live here in Harrison, Tn. on Chickamauga Lake. Old, ugly, disabled, but not dead. Best of all I still can catch a few fish on occasion.

Randy it's good to have some of you Tennessee boys on here. I gotta ASK, are you any relation to Eddie?

Welcome to the forum Mr. Nuckols. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the great state of Tennessee is the birthplace of Float n Fly fishing, correct? Do you engage in that particular persuasion of angling sir? I myself have not yet succumbed to that form of fishing addiction, but some of the fine gentlemen on this forum seem to have mastered it pretty well for a bunch of good ol' Georgia boys.

Welcome, Randy! Kind of neat having somewhat of a "Legend" (kin to Eddie, can't be too many Nuckols around?) joining our ranks!! We hope to pick your brain about the FnF!

I am the younger brother of Charlie Nuckols (hard to say when you are pushing 60) and the older brother of Eddie Nuckols. We have a brother Danny that in many ways is a better fisherman than all of us. Bad health has slowed me down but not stopped me entirely. Finally getting back in the swing of things my pardner and I placed third and eighth in night CBA tourneys last year. See ya on the water!

Not a lot if brain to pick but you are welcome to try. By the way brother Eddie sent me another text pic of a 6 pound plus smallmouth from South Holston lake he caught today. This lake is better for big fish than Dale Hollow in my opinion. When the float n fly bite is on in the past if you didn't have 20 pounds there was little need to expect to get paid at weigh-in. Hard to believe but this is where the float n fly came from so these old boys have been doing it for a long time. I believe some are still mad at my brother Charlie for introducing it to the world. Mike got in early with Charlie so he has a leg up on most.
