Hey guys, we just found out yesterday that my wife's father after having a spot on his arm and investigated that it is melanoma cancer. They are going to do more tests today to see how bad it is and perform surgery sometime next week to try and remove what they can but I am just asking that you keep my wifes family, her dad and myself in your prayers that this is getting caught soon enough that they can take care of it without any severe consequences. Thanks so much!

My wife and I would like to thank all of you who have responded to this post, I showed this to her and it makes her feel a lot better knowing that there is a group of good people out there who really do care! It really means a lot especially since most of you I have never personally met but we really appreciate it guys! They took more of a sample yesterday and should have results back by Friday to determine how concerned we should be but I will keep everyone posted as the information is coming to me, God bless all of you for being such great people!

They way i found mine Jay was when i ws coaching my daughters in Fastpitch Travel ball i got them checked on a regular basis, the Dermatologist saw a BB size mole on my collar bone area that was the color of Bubblegum, he removed it and sent it to Jon Hopkins, it came back as Milanoma, they sent my to Emory and had Lymph Nodes removed that were negative meaning it had not become internal, it sounds like his was detected early so he will be fine....something in my Heart tells me he will be fine. I apply Sunblock before i leave the house and at least once more while out on the water.
