Now I'd like to show a video on how to finish off painting your newly made baits. I am using powder paint to do most of my lures as they are more durable and don't require much epoxy work to protect the paint. I pretty much use the same methods shown in this video. You can use the exact same technique shown in this video to paint spinnerbait blades and any lead bait imaginable ie jigs, spinnerbait heads, jig heads any color you desire. etc etc. I get most of my powder paints from www.Jannsnetcraft.com More specifically here.

Making your own baits is a cool hobby and not to mention making some of your own unique creations is alot of fun. Something to do on those cold winter afternoons after getting off the lake . Sometimes thinking outside of the box with new lure creations will catch you more fish

Mike thanks for the link. I also powder paint my jiggin spoons. Usually in the winter when I run my space heater I will sit beside the heater and heat and dip the jigs. I like the way he applies the paint in the video.
