You ought to be able to find boat and engine weights at nadaguides.com. As far as the trailer, maybe 400 or 500 pounds???

A ranger tandem trailer weighs 5,000lbs and is by the best trailer built for bass boats! Total boat an motor is probley alittle over 2,000lbs

go to rangerboats.com and it will tell you what the total weight is. Criz i think your a little off on your trailer weight.

Just to clarify 5000 Trailer GVWR (lbs.) would be the maximum wieght that the trailer can hold, not the total wieght of the boat, motor and trailer. But Crizzle is pretty much on the money with the total wieght of boat and motor being a little over 2000 lbs. when 1625 lbs. is the approximate Boat Weight (lb) Single Console.

Leaplineman is correct the trailer does not weigh 5000 pounds. It can handle up to 5000 pounds on top of it. The trailer I think weighs somewhere between 600 to 800 pounds

I pull my 519VX with a Z-71 and it does fine. Just use the trailoring button on the gear shift. It changes the gear ratio so you have a few more rpm's in the low range and will gear down when stopping.

I have a Z-19 and according to Ranger book boat weighs 1,625 lbs single console and 1,850 lbs dual console. I pull with a Z-71 and there are no issues. You should be able to find the motor weights on line. The tandem axle trailer under this boat has a GVWR of 7000 lbs, could not find weight of trailer.

if it's a Ranger...it's a heavy, slow, lead-sled !!! But I"d rather fish out of a stable slow boat any day!!! The 1500 pulls it fine, if your driving on a flat surface at moderate speed. My '05 Z-71 has a little trouble pulling my Z20 (but then again, I drive to Guntersville, going over the mountain, and try to break the sound barrier to get to those Guntersville big mouths!!!)
