Ok guys, I know this isn't a monster bass but I'm new to allatoona, and today was the first day I ever have even landed a largemouth. So, I was pretty happy with the catch. I caught her on a drop shot with 10lbs line on spinning tackle so it was a blast fighting her to the boat. She weighed in just over 2.5 lbs...I was hopeing she was 3lbs but my scale said no.

day 2 fishing and I'm already flirting with my lake goals. Still no monsters, but I enjoy the tug once a fish gets over 2lbs. The bigger spot was caught on a shaky head, spinning tackle and 10lbs line, it was fun bringing her up. I'm loving April. When I fished toona in March I got skunked twice, so I'm pretty happy with this one too.
