Flatwood the more saws the better. And guys let me warn you there is nothing more valuable than a sharp blade when you start. And it will need to be sharpend after you finish, believe me on this one.

Have saw, will travel. It's on the calendar. Looking forward to working with everyone again and meeting new folks.

If we are messing with sweet gum trees, we will need a jack hammer to get the spike in. ha ha. I will be there, no chain saw for me done to much of it alresdy in my life. I want the hammer!!! Need to add SPARK PLUGS to the list, 2- strokes like to foul them out so easy. hounddog

Guys I will be there if I can. I have no experience with a chain saw, but I can swing a hammer and drive a boat if need be, even though I do not have one. If we need anything like a crow bar or a big heavy pry bar let me know and I will bring those I have a bunch extra. I also have two big sledge hammers (25 and 35 pounders) if we need them and might have a few extra hammers as well. And whoever said you will need a jack hammer to get a spike in a sweetgum was not kidding.

Sorry I won't be able to help this time. You guys be careful. Please be very safety minded for both yourself and others.

There is no need for a crowbar or sledge hammer, but I appreciate the offer. You might be suprised just how easily these typ of nails will go into a sweetgum with just a good heavy hammer. Wasn't nearly as hard as driving them into Rock.

I'll be there, boat and hammer. I have an old relic of a chain saw that is about as dependable as the weather forecasters around here (so I'll leave it at home!)! ;D
