We have alot of families out there that don't have access to a boat. So here is a marked map of a good bit of bank fishing areas that I have personally used or I have seen quite a few people fishing while on the water. I will update it as I think of more areas. . Feel free to add to it. You can right click on the map and hit "SAVE PICTURE AS" and this will put it on your hard drive so that you can print it and bring it with you to use as a guide. It prints bigger for me than it appears. IF it doesn't and you want a bigger copy email me at mbucca@comcast.net and I will send you a bigger one via email. Just be careful out there.

Thank you Mike! Although I do have a boat, I can't get all my grandkids in it at a time and I'm continually looking for places to take them and maybe their parents too.

Where is the old gold miners village located? I drove around Friday to several places and couldn't get to because of the water level so wound up going to Galts and fishing the submerged parking lot and the surrounding trees but had no success.... Saw a few hitting the top of the water but that's about it!

If you go to google and look up "lake allatoona bank fishing map" you'll get an excellent, interactive map with a lot of good shore fishing spots and info. It even tells which have picnic tables, playgrounds, swimming areas, etc.

Tony if you go to the bottom of the forum in the grey area that says Lake Allatoona Information you'll find that same map. Mike developed that map for this forum.
