I was wondering where is the best place to bank fish in the summer for Stripers?

Heard they been catching alot down at the Lock-Dam in Rome,Said they were fishing off they dam using live shad?Don't know for sure just what I am being told,hope this helps

The best season for fishing is summer whether on bank or sea. As catching of fish become easy with more availability of fishes in this season even on river banks.

Sorry but I don't necessarily agree with you on the best season being summer but many fish can be caught during this time. Spring is a great time but don't rule out any of the seasons. Much depends on what your fishing for and how your doing it.
