Great idea and I know it was a ton of work to put those brushpiles in.

Dawson it was my pleasure to help you out with that last tree, just wish I could have done more earlier. If you need any letters of recommendation for the Eagle Review Board I'm sure the other members and myself could provide what you need. Just let us know if you need them. Great idea for a great project by a great young man.

Thanks to pbmang, I've been able to go around to all the piles, and confirm the location (had to change the coordinates on a few), so y'all be sure to update the waypoints in your sonars. Maybe one of the mods will move this to the articles/cool info section?
Anyway, be on the lookout in the next day or so for the boat wash fundraiser thread/sign up sheet.
Hopefully this is the last bump of the thread.
Do shoot me an email or a PM if with a picture of any fish caught off of these, if you don't mind.
Thanks,
Dawson

It was my pleasure. I'm just glad we could beat most of the rain that day Here are a few sonar shots I took so you guys will have an idea of the size of these. They are MUCH bigger than your standard Christmas tree piles. And some were holding fish when we saw them.

I fouNd 2 of the three brushpiles I was looking for. That between glade and red top at the houses on the hill I have always called "the pass". I could not find the 1 at red top beach, I had it marked on gps but still could not find it? Is there anything I could go by on the bank maybe by lining it up on 1 of the two no boats poll or something? Any help would be appreciated and the next time these trees are being sunk in the lake I would like to join, they do hold fish the ones I used!

Hey Gaboy, I was not able to find the one at redtop beach either. It appears to me it is a little to the right of the no boat marker if you are looking at the beach, but I was not able to find it. No gps though. Just throwing a carolina rig at it. Archie

I see this is a pretty old thread - I was wondering though if these coordinates are still active and fishable? Thanks
